Default Best/recommended transmission fluid for an auto?

I am about to change the transmission fluid. What brand do you guys recommend for an auto tranny on the V6?

Thanks.

When I feel it's time to change my manual tranny and rear diff fluids, I'll be putting in Amsoil products. I only have 33,000 miles on them and that's not quite ready yet, IMO. I don't prescribe to the "you have to change your fluids often" BS. I was involved in lubricant analysis years ago and can see past the hype.

^^ I agree with you on when to change. I'll wait for 50k or 100k whatever it is.^^
I did my rear with Royal Purple cause it's an 8.8/3.73 take off and it had a wee bit of coast whine. The 85W-140 helped that.
But, to the OP, RP is good stuff, it quieted my 3.73 coast whine somewhat.
