Kooks and stainless steel works are the only LTs for the 4.0 that I know of, but these will cost about $1000 over shorties and Shorties will give you some better low end torque and power over stock regardless of what people who dont have headers say.

just a note on the long tubes:
i did quite a bit of research on these and they do add power but apparently they will make ur car sound AWFUL
so keep that in mind
havent really found a single video on youtube with a good sounding v6 with long tubes

MAC has LT's too. They will sound horrible though.

Pypes also makes shorties...and that is what I run.

so often do people make such "sure" comments about how certain mods give you zero performance increase. from my own experience, shorties DO improve performance. the thing is, the performance does not justify the cost. the performance increase is subtle but noticeable. the biggest difference felt with shorties is in the low end. torq is improved which will result in the car getting to the powerband a bit quicker. after that, don't expect much more noticeable performance increase. as for sound, i wouldnt say that they make your tone much louder, but they do make the tone much crisper and a bit more agressive which is a definite plus. i try to give my best honest opinions here on the forums and i do my best to give my honest opinion regarding shorty headers. i'm VERY happy with my set and dont regret AT ALL. FYI... i got my set for much less than the average vendor price so that made a difference on how satisfied i was with the result.

Yes sancho is right, you definitely can feel the shorties but its nothing crazy and probably not worth the money (unless you want to get every bit of power that you can like me) Anyway, dont buy them just for sound either because they really dont do much for sound, I agree its more crisp and maybe a little deeper but not too much of a change.

I never did a before and after with shorties, but I picked up 4 tenths with LT's and no cats.

Thanks for the reply Torch Vert. Since a lot of people don't think it's worth the money on them to begin with (price/performance wise), rather just go for cheap ones Should be the same concept I hope. Thanks again
