Default Finally looking to get exhaust done!

The absolute first mod I had planned for my car over two years ago got put on the backburner and instead focused on appearance mods. Now, I'm finally looking to get my dual exhaust done. Now, I've had my Aeroturbine on for nearly two years and I love the idle and low RPMs, but anything past 3k sounds like an old Eclipse with a loud muffler. Since I've been a bit out of the loop for the last year or so, I'm wondering if I'm unaware of something that's come out recently that sounds great. I know a lot of people were doing the GTAs a couple years ago, and they sound good, but I like the loudness and throatiness of my Aeroturbine. Is there anything new I've not heard about that's similar but maintains a nice idle and deep tone in the higher RPMs? What about in the way of X and mid-pipes? I want to keep my manifolds and cats... just looking to do the X, mids, and other muffler should I choose to stick with the Aeroturbine.

Thank you!

Borlas If you are willing to spend the money.

FRPP Kit
Good ol' FRPP Kit

Pypes
Pypes has good mufflers and mid-pipe systems.

Thats for posting those, Avalanch. I'm not a big fan of the Pypes stuff. They're okay, but they don't quite interest me. The GTAs are nice, though, but I hear they're not too loud. I don't think I've heard them in person, though. The Borlas are nice as well of course.

My preference actually wouldn't be as loud as my MRT is... it attracts too much attention. I'd be fine with something that's more mild. I like the sound of the GTAs, but I hear they're pretty quiet.

Anyone know of a place you can still get the FRPP kit with x-pipe and mids that still comes with the GTAs instead of the GTBs?

They stopped making the kit that comes with gta's, so you would have to buy those separately

Gee yeah your car looks identical to mine from the side! I used to have black stripes atop mine... removed them a year ago becaues the vinyl was so hard to keep clean. I'm prolly going to do a honeycomb blackout soon after the exhaust. I'm in Mission Viejo, by the way. Perhaps I can meet up with you sometime to hear your exhaust. My MRT drones like no other on the freeway, but I've gotten used to it and don't really notice it anymore.

When I get around to switching out my GT mufflers, I want to go with either Borlas or Corsa.

Go with either Borlas or GTA's, probably the best sounding setup for our cars.
