Default CAI difference on V6 vs. difference on GT?

Hey, about a week or two ago I installed a Steeda CAI onto my '06 GT and uploaded the AM 93 Octane tune. My dad drove it and he was blown away...and now he wants a CAI for his V6 'vert. I think that's awesome but I don't want him to be disappointed...do the CAI+Tune kits change the power on the V6 engines as drastically as they do with the modular?

The first performance mod I did was a C&L brand CAI and tune. It really changed the car and woke it up. If he has an automatic it will also get rid of the throttle lag. The American Muscle tune is rather tame according to a friend who has one - the Brenspeed, Bamachips, VMP Tuning and other CAI and tuner are a little more aggressive.

Definitely go with Brenspeed, VMP or Tillman (in that order) for the most out a CAI & tune combo regardless if it's a V6 or V8.

I noticed a HUGE difference in how my car drives when I installed the Ford Racing CAI + Tune. Really woke my car up, made it feel a lot more powerful too. Add in the required 91+ octane gas, and have fun! Your dad won't regret it.

C&L intake and evolution tune here, shifts are much firmer and it has more attitude now. And thats the word i would use "attitude". Its not a HUGE difference, or anything like that, I would consider a supercharger a HUGE difference. JMO

If he has an auto, the bamachips 93 octane race tune is sweet.

And if you drive like granny before and after a tune you won't feel any difference. But then, a CAI & tune isn't meant for granny...
