Default 08 making funny noise...

ok so my 2008 v6 mustang with 24xxx miles is making a funny noise, it is when i brake down to 900 rpms, when i first start my car, or when i accelerate to 900 rpms and stay there, the noise is best described as a low squeaky hummmmm..... anyone know why or what? thank you

does that mean i have to take apart the entire belt assembly, o man, is there anyway to find out by just looking

The belt is extremely easy to replace. You should have had one of the older cars before belt tensioners were invented. Those were a pain in the butt.

There is no way to check your tensioner by looking. You can get a mechanics stethoscope and check with that.

Remove your TB spacer and use it to smack the chit out of whatever is making the noise.
