If it is for the airbag it's just a pressure sensor to turn the front airbag off is a child/ small person is riding in the passenger seat

The Blinker fluid goes in the freaking blinker fluid reservoir and that model will not have blinker fluid unless it has cross drilled brake lines. duhhhhh

I have a copy of the shop manual. That's the electronic control module (ECM) for the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS)

Basically it senses (in conjunction with a pressure sensitive mat under the cusion) whether the passenger seat contains a child, adult, or no one at all, and feeds that info back to the airbag system

This thread is entirely too busy for 157db, he will wait until we least expect it

But I agree on the insurance being an issue if you swap out your seats.

So... how would you get around that with race seats? I know people on the forums have them. How did you bypass it, or how did you get your airbags to work?
