2010 V6 owners any regrets not waiting for 2011 V6?
Just got a loan approval for first Mustang. Going to use it as a daily driver and autocross. Problem is, don't know if I should wait the 7 months for the 2011s with more hp. With simple bolt ons and a tune an 2010 can be bumped up to 275 easily correct? Since I said daily driver, am I better going with the 2010 with a proven motor that has been around the past 10 years? Also looked at a camaro RS, a little too heavy around the corners. So here it is 2010 now or wait for the 2011? Main use will be as daily driver.

Stock crank HP is 210, stock rwhp is around 185, simple add ons like CAI and dual exhaust will bump up the numbers slightly (10-15 rwhp). Like I responded to your same post on AFM, I'm very happy with the performance of my 2010 v6 with the manual trans. IMO stick with tried and true vs brand new and probably full of first year kinks. Good luck but either one you choose I'm sure you'll enjoy the Mustang.

No regrets: This is my DD....it is quick enough for me for now.....I have a 2010 Z4 now with 300hp which is pretty stout.....once i finish anesthesia i'll be getting something with at least 10 cylinders
Plus the exhaust not on the 4.0's is prolly gonna be better sounding that the 3.7.....that is IF the 3.7 is modular....which i['m not sure of.
i can't imagine that it would be a pushrod motor.......now if it was a 90 * 3.7 pushrod engine with 306 hp....then that would sound pretty sweet!
