It throws the CEL and some other people have experienced odd idling. Seems it varies, some people can go months and some a few weeks. Mine took a little over a month to throw the light.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I've had mine on since October without any problems.

That being said, the gains aren't noticeable and I'm saving up for a tune heh.

I went with the bbk cause it's the best looking one imo.

I'm not going to buy it - too risky if it can throw codes and what not and since the gains aren't noticeable it's not like I'm popping my hood open all the time to brag about my stock engine - lol. I'll wait for the CAI + Tune which will probably come never (for some reason college costs a lot of money)
hmm...
anyone want to donate to Max's Mustang Fund?

you should notice improved throttle response but once your car gets going, you wont notice much else improvement. the added risk of throwing a code for improved throttle response just aint worth it. it would only be a good deal if you already owned a tuner and just needed the CAI. otherwise, save that $100. you can always "make" a little extra cash when you sell your books back . i did my time in college and there are definitely ways to put some cash in your pockets. try working the bookstore... one of the easiest jobs i ever had AND i got to mingle with lots of tenderonies while helping them find their books
