The one point we would make is that there is only one way to make a V6 shaft lighter than ours. That way is to loose some weight in the shaft components. The only way to effectively make the V6 aluminum any lighter than ours is by using thinner guage tubing. We use .125" wall thickness tubing, we absolutely will not make a shaft using .083" tubing because it will compromise the strength of the driveshaft. It also doesn't give you much "wall" to wear through should an exhaust clamp loosen up and start "rubbing" the driveshaft.

that is ****ing awesome dude.
+1k respect on that
there are so many company's that make decent stuff and get good reps because someone bought their top end product for the 7 second drag car, but when someone wants a cheap version of it, they skimp and don't take ANY pride in their product line, only their sales numbers.
kudos to you for doing the right thing and never laxing on quality before quantity!

Shaftmasters is awesome, just saying its not as worth it on a sixer. If you have a GT I dont know why anyone would have the stock DS.

Dave & Bob will inform you with all you need to know but you have call them and ask all the question, their shaft will be my next mod, but I'm going with the 4" on my '10 on my GT, there is more room in the '10 so not sure any advantage to the 3.5, dave, bob wiegh in if there is difference...hey google and see if they make a carbon fiber one for 6er
