All dealerships, not just Ford, love to intimidate people, especially you kids.
NO, A CAI & TUNE WILL NOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY. The dealer would have to prove that the problem was a direct result of the CAI & tune. I've had my Stang back for warranty work on a few occasions and never reverted back to stock. The techs and service rep always had positive comments about what I've done with the car, INCLUDING the CAI & tune. I was never denied warranty wotk.

dropped my stang off at the Ford dealership today for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked if adding a CAI would void the warranty.....the service advisor wasn't sure but a mechanic that was standing there said it wouldn't void the warranty if a FRPP is installed then properly tuned (as opposed to a non-Ford aftermarket CAI). I am not sure how accurate that statement is.......just telling you guys what I was told today.
thanks Jeff

The M5230V6 will not work for the 2010. That is the one I was going to get before I bought just a muffler. The one for the 2010 is the M5230V62, it cost about 3 bills more but it does include Borla(I believe) mufflers, tuner, K&N airfilter and GT rear valence. Was given a price quote of $1105 for parts, tax and shipping and labor hadn't been added yet. If you like magnaflow they have a good system for about 6 bills doesn't have the rear valence but most exhaust places already have the template and cut modify your valence right there. To tell you the truth it will be cheaper for you to go straight to a reputable exhaust place, tell them what you want. They already have all of the parts to make the exhaust for you and most will charge you cosiderably less if you buy everything from them and let them install. There was a $30 difference in hourly labor where I went to get a new muffler installed for bringing in all your own parts. Just a thought.
