I did Koni Str.t shocks/struts & Steeda Springs. Car dropped only 1 inch, haven't noticed any scraping or clearance problems. The car has a lot less body roll, and the front end doesn't dive under heavy breaking. Good combo.
I just finished a thread about the install. Saved a ton doing it myself:

I did springs, shocks/struts & Steeda HD shock mounts. So far I love the setup. The HD mounts got rid of the clunking that used to come from the front end. I also have sway bars and strut tower brace.
Overall the car is much more controlled, very little body roll.
Contact Sam Strano, he's in the suspension forum. I got my parts from him, Springs, struts, shocks, & HD mounts all for less than a thousand.

It's really hard to maximize handling without somewhat of a drop due to the stock suspension's F-150 like ride height.

+1 on the Steeda springs. I have their Ultralites in my car paired up with Bilstein shocks/struts. My area is not friendly to low cars either, but the moderate drop with the Steeda springs has not caused any headaches.
