For those chasing HP with a V6 - New Baseline #'s
American Muscle has an interesting video series about upgrading a 2005 V6 Mustang.
Their baseline run with the completely stock car was:
159 WHP, and 184 Torque
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdhsD...ayer_embedded#
With a CAI/Tune & Dual exhaust they bumped up to 200 rwhp & 250 torque
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJOzf...eature=related
Here's the link to their project page:

Don't mean to advertise for them, but there are a forum sponsor and I think it's got some good info for those of us who are modding V6's.

well either way that is a huge gain from some simple mods that ford should have, and now does, from the factory. also note that im sure they are running a 93 tune.
somewhat off topic if you look at Inside line's dyno of the new gt and it put down 395 at the rear wheels! that is literally 5% drive train loss! either that or Ford is watering down numbers

I am sure I am not telling you anything you do not know (maybe forgot?) but different dyno's achieve different numbers. A dynojet will read out 440 to my rear wheels but a Mustang dyno will read 395ish to my rear wheels. I personally follow the Mustang dyno as it gives a real world number ie hp under load etc. Sure it sounds nice to say 440 hp but I do not mind the real number. The long and short of the story is numbers mean nothing but the track surely does. Peace.
