ya i will probably go that route with the gears but that is a ways down the road from now. anyone know if there are coupons for AM online somewhere. i know i would only be saving 70$ on the exhaust but thats like 700 packs of ramen noodles. and thats like a few months of food for me lol. gotta love college!

From what I've heard on youtube the best srte frpp! That's what I'm planning for my 6! It will never sound like an 8 but it will sound good! Plus with the '11's coming out soon nobody will know mine is a '10 with 210 hp! Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

running without a "X" or "H" pipe will rob you of power. you need the crossover to allow the exhaust to scavenge.

it's easy, and you can get a take-off "H" pipe for pretty cheap. Or get a cheapie "X" pipe...but the x will be more raspy sounding, which I'm wondering how that would sound with the V-6
Have you ran w/o a H or X to back up this statement? The V6's are a little different.

I ran with an X, H, and no crossover.
The BEST SOUND was with no crossover.
The BEST POWER, TOP-END ONLY and with supercharger, was with an X, but the sound was horrible and the improvement in power was very small.

Depends what you want out of your setup.

u really dont need to tune ur car after the exhaust especially if ur paying normal dyno costs
save that money for a tuner and a cai

yeah, no need to do a tune with just exhaust...get a CAI first, then get a CUSTOM tune (not a mail-order one).
