i saw some where that had like 3.9 gears i think it was like strange engineering it seems like those would be a balance between 3.73s and 4.10s

also i think 4.88s are a little extreme just my opinion though

the eaton is top shelf so of course its worth getting but you're paying for quality and durability, not the ability to start beating anyone. u need the combination of both "drivetrain" & "power" mods for that.

4.88 sounds too tall for our rides, I would stay 4.10 or under. you'd be running at 3400RPM at 80 on the highway with '4.88' doesn't sound good if you do a lot of highway driving. 4.10's will just keep you under 3000RPM at 80.
I think 4.88s are used in the '4x4' world as I have not hear of them being run in stangs..

That is correct, and it isn't much less than $50 I believe, check www.newtakeoff.com and see if they have any cheap.

lotsa parts are reviewed by the customers who buy them on AM..

the 4.88 doesn't have a single one.. don't know if thats any indication of how unpopular they really are, but to me thats more or less a red flag.
