Introduction and first question...
Hello everyone!!!
I come to this message board everyday. You guys have been very helpful to me for deciding what modification to make next. There is a lot of knowledge here!!!
Time for my first question...
I have a 2007 Vista blue V6. As far as looks go... Street Scenes Gen 1 front end and louvers, Shelby GT grill, Shelby CS6 hood, California Special rear end and it has Silver Shelby style stripes. I have always told myself that if I could get a set of 2010 Shelby seats for the car I would. The ones with the silver racing stripes. Well, I have the chance to get them but... Would the car look overdone? Would it be "too much"? Also, I FIRMLY agree with the badging argument that comes up a lot. Never rebadge your car to be something it's not. The seats have the Cobra embossed at the top. Part of me thinks that's not cool to put in my car. Part of me feels like I'm rebadging to put those seats in.
What do you guys think.
Thanks in advance for any input.

I understand the look you are going for and those are nice seats but in my opinion that would be rebadging to me. But at the same time, who cares what other people think as long as you like it it doesnt matter.

Those look great and I'm not a fan of rebadging but i would seriously consider getting them. Also can you post a pic of your car i want to see it, and if people give you crap you could always supercharge it and say its a CS6

MMMMMMMMMMM COBRA! I guess I'm in the minority but I don't think that's rebadging your car. If they sold that same seat without the cobra you wouldn't hesitate to buy it. If you like the seats then buy them, I mean it's not like your putting a giant cobra on your fender or grille. PICS PLEASE

I wouldnt consider this rebadging. You are upgrading your seats, its not like you are putting cobra emblems on your car to pose as a cobra. If you want those seats go for it.
a guy I work with has Harley Davidson seat covers in his sonoma, doesnt mean he has rebadged it as a bike lol!!!
I would def like to see pics of your car sounds like you have made some nice upgrades.

I think a cobra on the seats are OK, it's when the cobra moves to the fender that you'll run into problems (well, just dirty looks).
Go for it, and post pics of your car ASAP, it sounds awesome looking
