Default Seriouly How Easy Is It?

So I'm really thinking about X-charging my car, either that or going with a pro charger system. I wanted to know how easy it really to do at home. I mean i have some mechanical know how and have a pretty dam good set of tools at home here. I also read on the x-charger website how "easy" it is. Any feedback is great.

thanks

Did it in the driveway by myself. Just followed the instruction manual. Pretty straightforward. Didn't have any problems.

did the vortech by myself without any problems, just alot of alter stock bolts/hose relocation etc. Looks like the x-charger replaces the stock v6 manifold and possibly relocates the alternator. Pretty basic stuff. Just don't break your belt tensioner when taking the slack off the belt for the new one lol.. I did that before, not fun.

Great kits for the v6 they have, very impressive..

Same here. Approx 7-8 hours in the driveway if you have moderate mechanical skills (like the ability to swap a water pump). There are a fair number of things to do, but none are really hard, and the manual is good.

You can see the manual here: http://www.explorerexpress.com/image...Mustang_CA.pdf

(Relocating the alternator is not required with the "X" btw)

The Cali kit uses a GT closed airbox. The HiPo uses a CAI.

The tunes are different, and I think the air inlet hoses are different.

The rest is the same.
