Spoke with AmericanMuscle & C&L and they both said that if i purchased the 05-09 CAI it would not fit and they wouldn't be able to properly tune the car. Is that true or are they just saying that to get theextra money out of me. Basically is it fine to buy the 05-09 kits for my 2010 V6 mustang?

its the EXACT same engine. theres no way they "wouldn't be able to tune it". now if you had a 2011 this would be different. theyre just trying to wring more money out of you.

im not a big fan of AM as they dont sell alot of packages that others offer, almost like they refuse to learn about the products they sell in order to offer more and better options to their customers. I wanted to buy a vortech tuner kit (literally everyone that offers vortech kits has vortech tuner kits) from them because we get a forum discount. they were all friendly about my request of the discount and responded almost instantly until i requested a tuner kit. they have not responded to my request in over 2 weeks. kind of rude if you ask me.

im a big perpetuator of "the customer is always right" and "customers come first" and this is not the service i have gotten from them. i have bought from them before, but i will NOT be purchasing from them again.

I had for awhile the 05-09 C&L intake on my car. The intake for the 2010 and the 05-09 is exactly the same with the C&L. The only thing that is different is the black plastic thing that acts somewhat as a mount and a heat shield.
