Car acting really funny (is my battery dieing?)
Two days ago I was driving home and right after I started my car I had to turn right, so I put the blinker on and it started flashing really fast - not at the normal rate. So I go "dang, my light must be burning out." I drive to the Ford Dealer, not far from where I was - I pulled in shut my car off, then turned it back on and it stopped doing that fast flashing to the blinker and it worked just fine. I drove home and it has not done that again in the past two days. But yesterday after starting my car and driving home from the airport my Shaker500 was acting really funny - it was like turning on and off and going dim and then cutting back in, then the volume control was like skipping volumes (but no sound was coming out. Just the visual display was skipping bars on the screen). So I did the same thing... pulled over, shut my car off - restarted it - and it took about 5 seconds for it to get playing after the car started up but then it worked fine again for the rest of the day/night.
I'm going to check the connectors when I get out to the garage but other than those what else could this be? My battery dieing? It's just been acting so bizarre lately

Dunno.
A simple volt meter would diagnose it quickly
instead of miles away sight unseen, mustang
forum diagnosis.
Sounds more like the wet SJB syndrome....
Upgrade and Shaker 500 used in the same sentence?

the floor doesnt necessarily need to be wet. Moisture could be just affecting the SJB itself but have your vehicle checked out and find out if there are any codes stored in the PCM or SJB. There is a known problem with water or moisture getting into the vehicle on the passenger side bulkhead and water enters the SJB causing all sorts of wierd symptoms to happen to the electronics

So if it is that flood issue with the SJB then what are my options? I checked the floormat and didn't feel anything wet but it was raining for a week straight here so it is a very good possibility it did get wet sometime in that week...
