I would gladly pay $180 for a properly done job.
I would be looking around for the TIG welder.
What, no TIG, then NO WAY JOSE.
Most use a MIG welder and thats just WRONG on the
fine Stainless Steel Ford put under there.
The MIGGED joints will soon corrode and crack thru.

Ok, I had the guys give me my money back and take the pipes off today. Snapped some pictures before these idiots got their hands on it. Couldn't get any pics of the pipes off the car, I was trying to just get out of there as soon as possible. I couldn't really say what I wanted to because as I stated the guy is a family friend and graduated with my dad, also the town has about 3,000 people in it. Needless to say... We have met and we both will see each other often. I tried to be a civil as possible, given the situation.

I am just so pissed off about this whole situation, yeah I got my money back BUT they ruined my GT Take-offs to the point that Im not sure they can be reused. AND the guy had the nerve to give me the whole "You are lucky Im even giving you the money back, most people wouldn't do this. You owe me. I expect you not to go around bad mouthing me!" Yeah Dick Ill get right on that...

Here is the mess that they expected to get away with...

My first clue something wasn't right...

Quality bend! ha yeah right

Yet another quality bend!

Nice pic of the pipe hitting the housing... that didn't rattle at all! HA!

The New INVISIBLE H-Pipe! Its like its not even there....

Ill get pics of the way they murdered my axle-backs later...

Some nerve that ***** has...
"You lucky I'm giving you your money back". LOL.
I grew up in a small town (1800 people) and that schit wouldn't fly regardless.

If your mufflers aren't punctured and your tips in good shape, you'll be able to salvage your axle backs and have a real pro do the install.
Prolly means to go out of town to get it done, so be it...

First things first: WOW that is a terrible job. I really hope you find a place that can fix this for you.

Second: $180 for duals! thats amazing to me. I was quotes around $500 from my local shop. i paid I think $170 to have my flowmaster single put on. did i get ripped off?

I live in Rural KY, shops around here are probably much different from the ones you go to in CA. That being said, installing a flo single can be done in your own garage with two wrenches and 15 minutes tops, $170 is pretty crazy to me.

Yeah, sorry to say it. I don't want to make you cringe but hanging a muffler is a $50 job, tops. I see your in CA, if you're in SoCal and are looking to get duals soon send me a PM and I'll forward you the info to the place that did my full conversion for $170

I'm sorry CWyler, that's ridiculous. When they brought it out, I would have assumed it was some kind of joke. Your car is so pretty, it's not like it's a ****ty Civic. I honestly think my 88 year old grand mom could do a better job. Dead serious
