Good luck.
I spoke with a lawyer today who is very good at what he does. He advised me to pay the ticket and that the court will not lower it if I go in.

I also got an email back from a lawyer I had looked up online and she said that AZ does not allow tickets to be modified to a parking violation like many states.

From what I have read I did get a very good break I just was trying to weigh my options. I wish this was 3 months later if it had to happen so I could have had to have it happen so I could have gone to traffic school.

That sucks. Note to self never moving to AZ. I've never had to really even say anything other than "guilty" to a traffic court judge. At least in WNY you talk with the prosecutor and they give you a decision unless you ask for a trial. If you're smart you're not likely to get much other than an expensive parking ticket.

WOW,
84MPH in a 35MPH zone, 49MPH over, in AR
equals a $129 ticket and 3 points.

Jeez, speed where at least the speed limit is 50MPH or more. 84 in a 35 that is a lot hahaha I wonder what the cop would have to say to that.

The funniest one I have seen was my nephews. Sis had his ticket up on the fridge for 72 in a 25. Seems as though he hadn't learned that at 2am in those 1 stop light speed trap towns the only cop has nothing else to do but guard his stop light. He knows better know I hope.

I've got a 60 in a 25 once. I know it sounds ridiculous but it's a major street with 4 lanes so 25 is a little slow for that road. The cop wanted to know, "where's the emergency?" I didn't get any points and the ticket was only $120. Paid it off

That's called "reckless driving" in Indiana and that will get you a free ride downtown and your car a free ride to impound!

The night I was pulled over, the policeman told me the same thing. He said I could go spend the night in jail, and my car could be impounded. Of course, this scared me to death and the tears started. I was already having a super bad night, and luckily the police officer was a very understanding, reasonable man.

Somehow, I can't help to believe that if it was a woman cop, the "very understanding and reasonable" would have not applied the same. LOL.

None the less, I always say that women should wear cleavage and short skirts when driving!!
