I have noticed that after 1/4 they start running us down but stop light to stop light they cant keep up. i only ran once at the track without nitrous because i got a bye but it was a slow time because i left my nitrous tune in it instead of putting my race gas street tune. i raced a roush stage three on wednesday and i beat him but i used nitrous : ) but to answer your question yes you can but you will probably spend about 3000-5000 but still cheaper than buying a GT and its fun to $hit on the V8 guys

Maybe NPI 96-98 mustangs GT. 99-04 Typically put down 230 rwhp and 280 ftlbs stock and the 05-09 will put down 270 rwhp 300 ftlbs. I honestly do not think you out run GT's all the time with out nitrous.

MY 2011 V6 has 305 Hp and is = to a stock 2005-2009 GT...

I used to kick GTs asses all the time, ok, mostly S195's and a few 197's...but with a blower.

No offense but reality must set in sometime! I have a 6 and didn't buy it to try to beat a gt, I could afford a gt just decided to buy the 6 for a good looking daily driver at a cheap price. If your original goal was to beat a gt you should have bought one! Plain and simple! Can you make your car as fast as a gt yes, but unless you have Terlingua money(16,000) stop now gt's can mod too!

Yes but the V6 is lighter. The GT does have a better torque curve and can see off the line acceleration but 3rd gear on the 2011 is strong and looked like it pulled the GT! GT still has the advantage in performance.
