Default Drove a 2011 V6 Auto & 5.0 Manual Mustang

I drove a 2011 V6 Mustang yesterday.

0-60 my Wife's 2006 V6 is way faster! The 2010 V6 Camaro is also faster.

60-90 the 2011 V6 Mustang pulls harder than my Wife's 2006 V6 Mustang & the 2010 V6 Camaro.

Overall the 2011 Mustang is a much improved car over the 2006 but the tranny shifting is programmed for my Grandmother with frail bones. At $32,000 it is way over priced.

See page 3 for 5.0 drivng impressions

Sorry, the 05-09 V6s AREN'T faster than the 2011, they just aren't. Driven both and there is no chance.

and lol at you for test driving an automatic. 32k for a six? Why?

Must have been fully loaded with markups. As nice as the new 6ers are, I wouldn't spend 32k on one

I spent more than that on my 2010 V6 Adding the convertible adds 5 grande right there.

Not that I don't believe the OP, but with the huge increase in horsepower, the 2011 V6 just HAS TO BE faster. I mean, that's a huge increase in horsepower. Throw in a tune and other minor mods like gears, and I'm sure that 2011 will feel like a BEAST compared to prior years. An aggressive tune makes the world of difference.

Stock 2011 V6 is faster than a stock V6 05-09 but not faster 0-60 than my Wife's 06 V6 with 4.10 gears, duals, CAI, & tune. 60+ the 2011 is faster.

The $32K had a $2K markup.

All I can say is go drive one. Unless I got a dog the 2011 V6 is pretty weak 0-60.

The salesman told me it was a 2011 5.0 and when I got there it was a V6 auto so I figured why not I'm already there.
