The car in the 5.0 article was tuned and that's ok with me cause I'm getting mine tuned also the longtube issue with aftermarket cats is a tricky thing in cali hard to find approved cats

I passed over LTs because of the mess with fitment. A lot of guys have rub issues not to mention a pain for those with strict emissions testing.

According to the chart, the 17 & 16 gain were before the tune and intake. Those numbers do seem to be at odds with what other people are getting from a tune and intake but remember, it may not be the best intake and it may not be the best tune.

just re-read the article, that intake setup is about the same as a K&N drop in. The tune should have unlocked more but again maybe they weren't the best at tuning for that setup. Would like to see them go back with those bolt-ons and have Bama tune it.

yeah CA hates us but no matter how much it hates us when you grow up here you learn to live with it I'll deal with it on modern cars and stick it to the state when i get a project car that doesn't need to be smog and just run straght heads get some bitches
