I have a 2006 Black on Black convertible. I love my car! However, when I open my truck with the remote, it buzzes loudly as it opens. When I close the trunk, it usually fails to close. I have to slam it three or four times before it closes. Does anyone know what's wrong and how I can fix it?

not sure about the buzz, but i had issues with it closing sometimes. where i would have to close it and slam it multiple times. if you look at the latch you can see that sometimes it may jam or get stuck in the open position. i had to get pliers and pull the latch in the closed position, then closer the trunk. havent really had problems since.

It does seem to stick in the open position. I have pushed it closed. However, that does not seem to help for the long term. Was there a specific part that you pulled with pliers? Is there a part that I need to replace? If so, which one and where can I get it at a reasonable cost? Thanks!

Its a burned out bridge rectifier...
