Skip the V6 and drop right on into a V8...

All kidding aside, you would have problems
on the electrical side before the mechanical side of the swap.
You or someone you know would have to have the whole 2011
system under his/her belt before I would go there...
Its a whole new ballgame. Not just swapin motors like yesteryear...

Well I know it's probably old news to most but just found that the new 5.0 goes on sale next week in crate engine form. Hmmmmm decisions decisions. Thank GOD I have a few years to either figure this plan out or just buy a new one LOL

Make sure it is highly insured and let someone you really don't like drive it....

I was thinking more along the lines of a new 5.0 Ranger.

I would think the 5.0 would be the swap to look for. They already have the motor available for the swap, but only with the manual trans. I would be more interested in the 6 speed Auto.
