Finally going to see what a custom tune feels like.

Next I went to the 91 Street, now the 91 Performance. I'm going to have to reset to the stock tune and drive it a little, then put the 91 Performance back on to really appreciate it.
But I sure am enjoying having these tunes. Thought I was going to get a ticket the other day jumping on it to get to freeway speed on the curved onramp, when all of a sudden I see a cop at the end of the onramp. It was two lanes and I was flying by the other car in the outside lane of the curve (and really enjoying the power). I don't even know what the speed limit is on an onramp...

although there is a noticeable difference from custom 87 vs custom 91/93, the difference gap is much smaller compared to factory 87 vs custom 87.
this always makes me wonder why people bother purchasing an 89 tune? only logical reason i can think of is octane availability at their respective local stations.

I guess I left out the part that I'm one of those ol' gizzers. I'm sure I'll get on it from time to time, but I got most of that out of my system, when I had that first Mustang back in the late 60's. Hardly a night went by when I wasn't out running one off with somebody. Got a couple of real war stories, about that, glad I lived through it. I will try that 91 race tune one day, just don't know when........
