Im pushing 418 torque through mine and no problems. I also have been over 115mph and no issues. I snapped a 8.8 and still no problem with the drive-shaft lol

Lol well yea over 115 is dangerous for just the 2005 drive shafts and I believe early 2006.

Yea there is a thread in the "V6 Info" sticky that talks about afixer's drive shaft grenading on a dyno.

THE FACT THAT THEY ARE NOT USED.

fricken caps lock.

Some 05s didnt use the retainer clips and the
pressed in bearing caps walk out of the yoke
under high centrifugal forces like 100+ MHP...

I remember reading about the clips in afixers post but even if my 05 had them, doesn't change the fact that i have on occasion tried to make them back out BTW, I kept the 115 governor on my tune instead of removing it. I'd like to have insurance replace the ds but not at the price of everything else that would have to be replaced

Yea, the saddle bag gas tank that surrounds the driveshaft
would not be too happy playing driveshaft safety loop duty.

yep the other broken drive shaft actually cut a hole in his tank. it was a raised dyno and the shaft dropped then bounced back up if i recall. i was lucky just smacked around under the car a bit.
