nitro'ed a v6 05' ?
Has anyone dropped in a nitrious system yet for these new 4.0 stangs? if so what can they handle? and what type of hp are u getting? also what type of system?
Not saying I plan on spraying but keeping my options open. I would rather mac dual exhaust , and then supercharge down the road. Just want to get a feel for what people have done to their 4.0's and how far can we stretch them before they break with just factory engine.

RE: nitro'ed a v6 05' ?
I was running a 25 shot for a while, but didn't want to go over that until I was able to have the car tuned / colder plugs were available.
I removed the system, when I took it back to the dealer for a free oil change. I was going to put it back on, but I really want a bigger shot (50-75 range), and for that I need a custom tune and colder plugs.
From what I've read the stock internals should be ok up to about a 75 shot, maybe a 100 with a REALLY good tune. I wouldn't go over that until you've rebuilt the engine with stronger internals.
You're gonna run into the same problems with a charger. The engine as is, can only take about a %50 increase before it fails.
You also want to be careful if you remove the rev limiter. I hear the crankshaft tends to flex all outta whack at high RPM's in the 4.0 engine.
