Default Battery disconnect and sub

Hey guys, I have a 2006 Ford Mustang V6 and the other day I decided to take my sub, amp and all the wiring out from behind the shaker 500 head unit.

While taking everything out I also disconnected the battery while the driver side door was open and now my power windows don't work and my radio is shorting out. The radio either comes on but without the sound (speakers not working) or it doesn't come on at all. The power windows have no power going to them at all. I have checked all the fuses pertaining to those components without finding a blown fuse.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I've noticed when my battery is disconnected for more then a few minutes at one time my windows will do what you are describing, they will go back to normal shortly...

Jeeezeee, anyone know how to read anymore?

HERE is radio diagnostics if you are so inclined to read all about it.
Its no mystery with the Online Workshop Manual....

Nope, we don't all swear by the manual like you.

when my blinkers and brake lights went bad what i did was disconnect the battery cables and touch the cables together to discharge any current, do not touch the cables to opposite battery posts but only to eachother. that solved my problem maybe it will work for you

Turn your car on, windows closed, hold the window up buttons for five seconds and I think the power windows will reset and work.

Think again.
Proper procedure is to get in with the windows up as far as they will go.
Roll window down and hold button for an additional 2 seconds.

Window calibrated.
