aggressive tune loses it's potency??
I think i read this has to do with adaptive learning.
My new AM 91 race tune is pretty darn aggressive. I have to reset the tune every week. i don't reflash, but i do the ignition switch, gas pedal trick, which seems to work pretty well. I would reset my bama 91 performance tune every month. The AM 91 race tune is a weekly reset. I'm guessing it's just more noticeable when a really aggressive tune starts to lose some of it's power. Do any of you notice this with your aggressive tunes? AMchrisrose, if you see this post, can a tune be written that won't lose it's potency? Thanks, |
Despite what I've heard regarding AM and/or Brenspeed claiming to be able to "turn off" the adaptive learning, I've yet to read where people state that it worked. A few hear have posted that their supposed tune-with-adaptive-learning-turned-off still goes limp and requires a battery disconnect to bring the car back to it's snorting, aggressive self.
I typically disconnect the battery about once every 4-6 months but then, my Stang isn't my DD and probably only sees daylight MAYBE once a week. |
i have a 93 tun from brenspeed... i just reinstall the tune about once a month, works great

u know ive never noticed a difference, but i think this wknd ill reset the battery and see how it feels

Reloading the tune doesn't reset the adaptive learning from what I'm told.
|
when you load new tunes, it definately resets it...
think about it, if it didnt reset it, when you loaded your tune, you wouldnt have noticed a difference. |
tunes here are or are not really tunes. im comfused i think
|
I think you are too. What do you mean by that?
|
dont listen to that one idiot, reloading your tune will reset the adaptive learning, trust me
