Default Mods that compliment a tuner

So I have a SCT tuner and CAI along with dual exhuast on the V6.

Are there any other mods (aside from like supercharger) that compliment a tune to get the most out of the tune and other parts?

Thanks

3.73 gears with a t-loc in an 8.8 rear is another very popular and great "bang for the buck" mod.

+1, check into some under drive pulleys aswell it's not much of a gain but it's a gain.

When you say compliment a tune do you mean what other mods can you do that require a tune?

Yeah I think he means both mods that require a tuner and mods that, when used with a tuner, are even better.

UD pullies (the only ones available for a sixxer are made by ASD, I think) have been shown to only make 4-6 whp on a stock v6, but if that is worth it to you, go for it.

LT's, cams, aftermarket TB are 3 off the top of my head that require a revised tune. Gear changes are user-adjustable with a handheld so no revised tune required for that. UDP's do not require a tune, either.

Nor is it worth it for n/a applications.

..double-Doh!!!

You'll want the tuner device to adjust for different gear ratios, as that's a user-adjustable setting. And as mentioned, gear changes are a popular upgrade, the power isn't increased, but the acceleration is very noticeable and adds more fun!
