Default Lowering Springs...Info and Ideas Needed

I have a 06 V6 and I was looking into lowering it, but there's a problem. My car is a DD and to get out of my driveway the lowest point when backing/pulling in or out is 3". With the PJ front im already running about 7.5" clearance on flat ground.

So I don't want to go any lower than about 1.5" preferable a little less. I really like the price and the Ford Racing brand springs, they look really good, but it says they ONLY fit the GT mustang. I was wondering if anyone knew why or if theres a way to run these springs on the 6.

Any other ideas are welcome too, im open to eibach, H&R, or any others.

Pictures are more than welcome too!!!

Im running 255/45/18 Front and 285/40/18 rear

The M-5300-K Springs are for the GT, the M-5300-N is for the V6. Both springs will work on the car, they aren't fitted any different.

I have the FRPP N springs, and my car is my daily driver. Install is easy also.

Go to Sam Strano's website at www.stranoparts.com and check out some of his packages. He's a forum member and usually responds to this type of question in the S197 Handling forum. Straight-up guy and will help you nail down what you need based on your driving style.

Ford Racing K-Springs= Eibach pro-kit. I would go with the Eibach pro-kit if I were you, I had the same problem and the pro-kit is the answer. Gives you the look and doesn't sacrifice your bumpers lol.

why not run a 1" drop instead?

I am running the "Foose Stallion" springs. They are FRPP springs that were to be used by the Foose Stallion Mustang. Project got canceled of course, but the parts were made. I got mine for $100.

They ride very nicely as well. Good quality at a killer price. You can find them on the CDC site still. Comes as part of a package with Sway bars as well

They are similar, but not the same. Eibach makes FRPP Springs, but the FRPP Springs are a bit stiffer than the Pro-Kit.

i like the idea of the FRPP springs, but is this a proven fact that someone has done to their car?

and i also looked on CDC as suggested and i like the idea of the whole FRPP package for 550, front and rear struts, rear sway bar, and springs all FRPP... might have to call about that!

Ask pascal, he has installed a lot of K springs on Sixers. If I were you I'd get the adjustable shocks, they make a world of a difference and can be tuned to your likings.

How much drop did you get on the front and the back with these? You said 1" but is that on the rear only or did the front and back both drop that much?
