corrosion on our pistons is impossible, they're not metal. That is a ton of money for OEM stuff. I did the GT brake upgrade this summer and I spent $75 on our classifieds for nearly new brakes, pads, and brackets (reused my calipers). You do need 17" wheels. If you want mine, I'll sell them for the right price someone in the classifieds was selling my combo (Pirellis and GT wheels) for around $400. The braking did get noticeably better. Not so much a stronger feeling in the beginning as a stronger braking through out the whole event. I do stop faster and my braking power doesn't fade as quickly when I heat them up.

$800 is pretty high

I did the GT rotor upgrade in the front along with new rotors in the rear, Hawk HPS pads all around and a new rear caliper for a lot less than that.

So in all I replaced all pads, rotors, front caliper brackets and 1 rear caliper for under $450, I believe. Did all the work myself besides installing the new caliper which helped cut costs. Install is dirty but not all that hard especially if you have the tool to compress the caliper pistons in the rear (~$25 from Harbor Freight)

I have to say, I wasn't all that impressed with the Hawk pads and GT rotors but in the end it wasn't super expensive as far as mods go and compared to what OEM parts would cost. Gets the job done though

Thank you guys a lot. I am thinking when I get back home I should buy the hardware and go down to the garage we have available to us and do it myself. I do not have 17's but maybe I can work something out with you JCON. pm
