Default Turned down exhaust?

Yesterday while out driving my stang, I saw a 2006 V6 with dual exhaust except his were turned down. Not like the Ricer kind, but like he took two wimpy mufflers off of a four banger or something. They were turned down. I've never really noticed, but are some Mustang V6s exhaust turned down?
It was a sad sight! It seemed like the owner was trying with ¼ window louvers but Geez, those duals were UGLY!

Yeah, I'd suspect that WOULD look like azz. It's just not a muscle car look.

Yeah... some people's exhaust systems look pretty whack...

One time I saw a V6 mustang with duals, except each tip was one of those dual muffler tips, so he had a "quad" exhaust.... made me sad to look at that.

Dual tips can be cool if done right and made to work with the bumper.

the older v6's had turned down tips. but they were hidden by the bumper. It would look like trash on our cars

Yeah I saw it once. Totally ugly. I saw this old women driving this odd color green (not legend lime, not bullit) mustang that was a V6 but had GT badges and dual exhaust. It had really long tips though. Like, they stuck out several inches and were not polished or anything. They were just straight bad looking. Think of the stock V6 exhaust tip but like 6 inches longer.

What's even worse is when you see Mustangs with dual exhaust and they are fake! They aren't functional at all just stuck on there for appearance!
