2007 Shelby vs 2011 v6
#13
Met with the dealer today. The Shelby GT (I did know the difference but thanks for trying to help clarify) is actually in Nasheville and would have to be transported to me. Dealer did a good job of selling the v6 to me. Though I'd love to have a GT Shelby, between the interior and the fairly good hp, I'm definitely leaning towards the 2011 v6 now. It certainly didn't hurt that he sent me home in the car tonight so I could play with it ...

I would take the shelby. Here is why:
-V8 (sounds/looks/performs/takes to mods better)
-Faster
-The new style is ugly IMO (don't hate me, I just don't like it)
-ITS A FREAKING SHELBY
So as long as everything checks out mechanically, SHELBY!

I would choose the the Shelby too, depending on delivery date, car only had 8,000-10,000 miles a year put on it....but I also understand the sense of buying a new car, new warranty and not "possibly" buying someone else's headache.
Good luck.
Good luck.

They are both nice cars. What ever works for you. The 2011 V6 has a much nicer interior and will get much better gas mileage if that is a concern with simular HP to the Shelby and a 6-Speed. The Shelby will turn more heads and has the V8 sound that many Mustang owners can't live without. It's up to you. Get what you like, not what others like.
