The shop can probably make clamps and a mid pipe but you need to decide which you want an X or H. Talk to some of your local shops and see what they say. Maybe find a Mustang Club in your area that can point you to some recommended muffler shops. You have to factor in labor costs too and that can vary from $50-$300+.

Looks like the exact kit from NTO even the picture is identical LOL

I didnt even open your link until just now.

I do know that NTO charges for shipping but it wasn't that bad. the kit for 2010 was about $20 more and I paid total of $391 includes shipping, guess it differs based on where you live.

I would not start out with the objective of making your V6 sound like a V8.
Its just not going to happen. However, the V6s can sound really awesome.
I also a agree with 07 Stang, the cutout look is cheaper and it gives your Mustang
a unique look. IMO, 2nd best to a CS or GT500 valence.

Total Price: $255.55

Exhaust work from muffler shop @ $50/hr: $50.00

Total price: $305.55 is what i paid

BAM!!!

ill post pix soon. you can easily use the passenger side mid pipe as it is VERY thick and will line up with the x pipe perfectly.
there are also some nice pics in my profile of things to look for after the fact, like rattling and trimming the hangers.

I LOVE the sound of the GT takeoffs. it sounds the deepest and most mature of all the mufflers IMO. Its also the cheapest.

Also there is a debate as to which GT take off sounds better, ones from a manual or auto mustang GT. Lots of people claim that the manual ones sounds better but the only people I have ever seen give a side by side comparison say there is NO DIFFERENCE. I think it all stems back to the great manual vs auto debate that gets brought up every month here

I got the GT mufflers dirt cheap and had the local shop fabricate an H-pipe and do the install. They charged me $200 for that. The H-pipe will give you a deeper tone, and it sounds like that's what you want.
