Default Going to try and get a 2009 V6

Well I have not been on this site in a long time. Some of you might remember me, I have a 1988 Trans Am GTA I use as an everyday driver. I came across a super nice 2009 black V6 45th anniversary Mustang a few days ago and I really want it. It has the Nice V6 appearance package, glass roof, shaker 500, leather, my color dash and everything. It has 15K miles on it and the dealer is asking 21K for it. I personally think this is a little too high. I just went on auto trader and found some comparable cars same color, miles and all for about 17-18K. I am going to try and see what they will give me for my Trans Am and if I don't like that figure I will try and sell it outright and try to haggle them down. I test drove the mustang today and just fell in love. Is there anything I should be looking for wrong with the car? What do you guys think I should try to get them down to price wise? The car is in mint condition, I didn't see one dent or ding. Thanks

Listen for the bushings characteristic squeak, maybe that pesky A pillar rattle (still can't find mine grrrr) and I think they fixed the water leak thing by 07 but still take a look under the mats for ANY water damage/sign of water stains on carpet. Oh and test the stereo system for that annoying popping, I had the dealer fix it before I bought it.

Other than that, great find! I would have killed a goat for my color lol, I wanted it, but couldn't find one that had that and everything else in my price range.

By the way, what does the v6 appearance pkg have in it? I've heard of it, but never seen one.

Wow sounds extremely nice. I have never seen a V6 with a glass roof. I would keep in mind that you could probably get a nice 2010 for the same price. I would just recommend that if you like the new body style. The engine is the same, so it is strictly visual.

Agreed, much rather have the '11 with its greater HP & MPG.

Yeah it is a super nice car, but I thought it was a bit over priced.. I don't know if this is what I want to do exactly yet. Here is a link to the car!
