Wasn't it her that had the UDP's and it wasn't charging right? Or was that someone else?

Must have been someone else since her Pony doesn't have UDP's.

What I found back in the Chicago burbs was, when she was making multiple starts with stop n go traffic and runs of less than 1 mile day-in and day-out, the alternator wasn't able to maintain the battery above about 50% charge (that was in '09) and I was putting a battery tender on it every so often. But since she's driving longer distances with more steady state speeds here in Mississippi, the battery seems to be maintaining itself above 75% charge without any outside help. I'll probably have her battery load tested before the heat of the summer hits. I figure that we're both on borrowed time.

Mine died in my '05 after only 3-1/2 years. Leaving the Shaker on and letting the car sit for a week finally killed it. Had to jump it once about a month before then, too.

For us in FL, 3 years is about it as far as longevity.
Mine was gone in a little less than that.
The record I've seen is 9 years (Duralast).

I have an early 06. The battery died last may, but was replaced with a battery out of another 06 that works fine.

I bought my '07 V6 Mustang in December of 2006. I had it replaced in late of '09. Lucky for me that battery died in my driveway because that day, I drove all the way to Ft. Lauderdale and back to Miami.
