HELP!!! IM an idiot =(
I need to know how to disconnect my battery on my mustang 09 v6. I bought a used diablo predator today and the guy didnt restore his mustang to the factory settings and I put on a tune and it said it wouldnt work so now my car wont start and the autozone guy told me to disconnect my battery but the only problem is idk how to disconnect it? I have had several instructions but i still have no idea. please help and explain in detail. guess I'm not as smart as i thought I was.

.......disconnect the leads to both terminals on top of the battery? Make sure the car is off and use a wrench to loosen up the connections. If it's hard removing the connections, use a screwdriver in tandem and slowly pry off the connections... is this what you were looking for?

..... the two cables running to the top of the battery have metal connectors. Remove these.

yeah what madstang said, make sure to get the one under the red cap and then let the car just sit without the batt for about 20 minutes.
BUUT, disconnecting the batt will NOT reset the tune buddy, on my car it didn't (took the batt out last week for some work) so I think you have to reload the stock tune from the tuner you have.

Buying used tuners can certainly be an adventure.
Contact Diablo tomorrow and see if they can help. I don't think disconnecting the battery will help but it's worth a try.
