I'm trying to sell my 2005 black on black with red leather automatic premium v6 with 49,800 miles for $13,900
Never been tracked, see my mods below
Spoiler, trip information display, traction control, power drivers seat, locks, mirrors, windows, and top.
Shaker 500 stereo and an Alpine 9884 headunit with iPod integration
It has never had any major repairs done, only scheduled maintenance.
Viper 5901 security, keyless entry, and remote start system. I have 2 keys, 2 Ford OEM key fobs, and 2 Viper remote start key fobs.
Ford factory parts:
GT 17" wheels with Pirelli tires
GT front brakes
GT rear anti-swaybar
GT full dual exhaust with M2 shorty headers
GT under-body windage tray
Sequential tail lights
Black Billet grille with driving lights
The security system and the window etchings will also lower your insurance if you notify your insurance company
Car has scratches from regular driving but I wash, claybar, and wax regularly so the paint looks like glass when I finish.
I've had 7 people interested so far but no one has been able to get the money together. I believe stock 'good' private sale value is a little over $13k. I'm not trying to recoup much of the aftermarket stuff I have in it.

Do you plan on getting another Mustang?

To be honest, your best bet would be to sell the aftermarket parts individually to recover some of the money you have invested. Then you probably could sell it at that private party price easier.

It's been 4 years so far and zero issues besides a grounding wire coming loose about two years ago (make sure your daughter doesn't drive off the beaten path). If the dealer is asking for 11,500, I would definitely try to get it close (if not below) 10k. Your daughter is a lucky girl, and you're obviously a level-headed father. Good luck with your purchase.

I bought my car for 10k with 48k miles in Dec of '09. I got it from a dealership too.
It is a deluxe, but it has the interior upgrade. Other than the battery dying the next day after I brought it home I haven't had any problems with my car. Its been a great car and its fun to drive.

HOLY CRAP! I didn't realize I put $19k. I meant $13,900
Taking parts off isnt really an option. They're mostly GT parts and the V6 parts are gone. I am looking to get another Mustang, a convertible GT.
