Default Exhaust configuration

I was planning on putting a true dual exhaust on my 2005 v6 mustang. I wanted to use two origanal 40 series mufflers and an H pipe of some sort. Now im not that familiar with how all these works so some patienta would be greatly appreciated. The car has to have the cats on and i dont plan on buying new headers. So what im trying to get at is what else would u need to do or buy in order to do this? Thanks in advance!

I have a complete, header back, GT take off system on my car. The x-pipe will make a few more ponies but the H will sound better. I would recommend the prochamber for best sound/performance. You can get any 2.25"-2.5" crossover pipe as long as it is not the off road version (or if it is the off road version, the cat deletes are not welded on). My hole exhaust installed was $300 including the hangers for the drivers side. Check Craigslist and the classifieds on this forum, there are a lot of good deals.
