Default Strut mounts & Camber plates

Its almost time for me to replace my shocks/struts. I know I'm gonna need some caster/camber plates due to some camber issues I had before that caused some inner tire wear. What I'm trying to figure out here is, do upgraded strut mounts (I.E GT500 strut mounts) do the same job as caster/camber plates or do I have to buy the plates to avoid any issues.
