Thumbs up Has anyone tried mid muffler set up?

So for instance the muffler set up would be before the axle. I have a 2008 v6 and I am wondering if anyone has successfully seen this particular set up or a personal testimony with pictures would be awesome!! I just don't like the mufflers showing behind the bumper and this could be a good alternative I just do not know if we can get the mufflers up there snug enough to not bottom out or show from the rear. Any responses are appreciated...

Pypes does a mid muffler system. A friend has it on his car and it has a pretty good sound to it

Either that or you can spray paint the mufflers matte black to hide them (blend in better)

So I have the Pypes X pipe for my car, and I also have dual flowmater original 40's mufflers. Since I already have those parts all i need from my local exhaust shop to do is cut the old crap out and bend the 2.5" piping to go over the axle then I also need to purchase tips(im thinking 3.5" tips), and then finally connect everything together. For you exhaust gurus out there how much $'s am i looking at?

Thanks for the already given input i realy appreciate u guys!!!

I am waiting to sell this to get a GT but once I have it I want to start playing with an idea from a guy on TT.net. Mid dual channel single muffler (was actually two welded together) out to two more mufflers. The result was certainly quieter but the tone was one I've never heard before. I liked it a lot. It's basically like a super elongated Prochamber crossover muffler.

My local shop cut in my race bullets for like $80. I supplied the mufflers, and he cut and welded. I kept the over axle pipes and swapped out the GTA's for Pype Bombs afterwards.
