I'm the second person within the past month to post this, but I officially today have paid my car in full, 21 months ahead of payoff date.

congratulations. I'm hoping to achieve the same. If you don't mind sharing, how much were your monthly's and how much over did u pay per month? or was it more of a "dumb money to it when you can" type situation?

Payments were 240 a month on a 48 month, I was putting 300 a paycheck to it for a little while then bumped it up to 500 a paycheck this summer, I was working 2 jobs this summer so that is how I was able to make those payments

Good job man! Always a great feeling to do that. When I last wrote a check to pay off my 06 GT, I swore it would be the last time I had a car loan/payment. And that was 3 cars ago. lol

I was doing 600$ a month for about a year but income got CUT and now I have to do the minimal 340 :/
