My daughter has a 2006 Mustang. She has no airflow from the dash vents only when selected. Defrost and foot selection works normal, good airflow. Can anyone tell me if this sounds like the vent slection of the rotary switch could be bad/faulty or could it be something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated

When you change the dial can you hear the doors open and close? It is possible that they are stuck in one position.

My 01 does the exact same thing! not sure if there's something stuck in there that fell in the windshield vents or if it's vacuum related. I bouhgt it a month ago & my manual doesn't mention it, of course. Please, any leads will help. It did seem like there was excessive vacuum hiss at the selector when I turned the car off. I've never had to deal with this issue on any other car, so I'm kinda lost too
