Does anyone know the width of the stock 17" wheels on a base 2014 V6? The OEM tire size is 215/65/17, i was looking at running a set 245/55/17 winter tires i have in my garage... Is it a 17x7, 17x7.5 etc? I couldn't find a confirmed answer...

I do believe they are 17x7 and a 245 tire is waaaay too wide for those wheels. 225 is the widest you want to go.

I posted a couple of months back on the same question. The response I got was 7", my stomach dropped a little that night. I really feel a wider tire would make handling curves more responsive and less unstable. So, just going to have to wait
