hey fellas and/or gals,
what are your opinions on Sumitomo tires? i'm close to pulling the trigger on a wheel/tire package and just wanted some user feedback. my intentions are primarily (90%) street use. THANKS!

I've got the HTR.Z II on my summer wheels and these are great. I can still break the tires loose when I want to, but anytime I do get sideways it feels very controllable and predictable.

It's probably not the best tire on the market, but it's a good compromise between price and performance, wet and dry.

a buddy of mine has been running them for a few thousand miles and says they grip great on the street and strip. when it comes time to buy wheels/tires i'll be looking at those or if i really feel like going all out some hankook ventus v12 but sumitomo's can't be beat as far as price/reliability from what i head/read

For the price, I am happy with my sumitomo HTRZ II's and plan on purchasing again soon!
