HD Radio in Base V6?
Hello Mustang Forums! I recently bought my first Mustang - a shiny new 2012 It's meant to be a DD, so I went with the V6 model for the MPG, and with the base model for budgetary reasons. The only thing I regret not getting from the V6 premium is I really wanted to upgrade to an HD radio this time around. I want to do my best to keep as stock a look as possible with the car, so my question is this:
Can I just take a head unit out of a V6 premium model and swap it into my base 'Stang to get myself an HD radio, or do I need a different antenna and other electrical magicks to get it to work? If it is a simple swap, is my Ford dealer the best bet for getting ahold of a V6 premium radio or maybe strolling through some local junkyards for awhile? Thanks to anyone with any info!

HD is an option, but I forgot it was only available with the Sat Nav upgrade. Same questions apply though; is there a straight swap that can be done, or is there a decent amount of other antennae and such that need to be swapped out, too?

you have to get somthing reprogrammed in the car if you swap out the radio, there was a post with a bunch of codes a while back. try the audio section. IMO would be easyer to throw in a dash kit and a better stereo.
