Default new exhaust or lower it???

OK so it's down to a new dual exhaust with X pipe or lower it with eibach springs 2 inches in the back, 1.5 in the front. Which one would you go with. keep in mind, right now I have a single straight pipe from the cat back. I'm looking to do an X pipe to either magnaflow, or ford racing dual exhaust. Only thing I'm worried about with the dual is losing too much back pressure since it is only a V6. Help me out with this one guys

You will be ok with the back pressure, obviously going exhaust will be a little more expensive, lowering springs will give you a new look to the car, with a drop of that magnitude the overall suspension balance will be sacrificed much quicker, the strut mounts will wear out quicker, the impact on the shocks and struts will wear them earlier. I don't want to deter you, as the decision is yours in the end.

Don't lower it just yet? If you're going to do it then you're going to be changing a lot of your suspension parts. Don't go with a 3" pipe. 2'5 is fine or else you'll have problems with your EGR.

hmmm..so basically, the cost is going to be about the same. if I'm going to lower it, I'm going to do it right..struts, sway bars, camber kits..the whole nine. the kit on american muscle is about 1100 bucks...so the exhaust is going to be a little cheaper than. 2'5 you say
