Default Interior re-wrap pricing...

OK, so I went to this shop here in Ft. walton beach that does some custom work. I was quoted 1200 bucks to re-wrap my mustang with Katzkins leather. is that good or should I just spend the 250 for the ebay leather kit and do it myself. anyone out there that has done it, is it hard to do?

A friend of mine got GT takeoffs for his 06 which is pretty much the same seat design as the 2010-2012 and it was fairly easy with just basic tools we did remove the seats to make it easier, after that it's pretty easy just takes some time to do though. I would recomend just buying the ebay leather kit. I hope that helped.

I would recommend the kit off eBay.
The leather is nice quality and unless you are going with a custom theme $1,200 for seats seems crazy.

it seemed pricey to me too, just thought I was being cheap though ya know. I'll look around on Ebay again and see if I can find that kit

Katzkin is not the only game in town, TMI Classic has has been in the biz for years and has leather and vinyl options. I went with the leather option and installed them myself for $799

If you youtube it, you can find instructions for the Katzkins as well. I would definitely go the Ebay route. I recently saved $220 bucks by doing my speaker and head unit install myself and learned a lot about how my interior is constructed. You can't beat saving money and learning about your car at the same time! $1200 is just way too much for a leather interior.

Man, those are some beautiful seats! I can't stop admiring them. I wanted to go with a look similar to that, but an uncle of mine hooked me up with some Shelby take offs so I'm now going that route.

Garypony, I love your interior, I went on TMI's website but could not find my year of my Mustang. Are they covers that you installed or direct replacements? I need leather in my ride...
